art Keel, Achill was a lonely place when we visited. Of course, it was the wrong time of year for water sports unless you consider walking in the rain a water sport. Seriously, we had a wonderful time on the island and the views were spectacular.
Music: The Old Rambler

Keel, Achill

Keel strand with a westward view
We walked this beach, me and you
It was very dark in the western sky
With billowing, tumbling clouds piled high
The sun from the east cast its spell on golden sands
Just another of Ireland's lovely strands
