art Quebec from the river. Frontenac is a marvelous building. It dominates the skyline with such majesty.

Music: The Old Rambler

Au Revoir Quebec, Canada

The last time we saw Quebec
The skyline was dominated by Hotel Frontenac
Little cafes were serving the famous PEI mussel
The place was alive with hustle and bustle

Huge ships lined the docks
And in the evening this place rocks
We ate lunch at the Cafe Brigantine
Full of French speaking locals, dining to be seen

We walked along the Rue St. Paul
To visit the antique shops - one and all
We went to the vegetable marche, where sausage sandwiches were bought
Would you expect hand made sausages in a vegetable market? - You would not!

We walked all over old Quebec City, the trees adorned with the colors of fall
We carefully selected treasures as we lingered in each souvenir stall
Soon we will catch an airplane - homeward bound
The French language echoes now, as a most familiar sound
