Breakfast at Clifden House

We stayed at the Cliden House which was a true delight
A boat was tied up on the lake nearby
After dinner one of the guests went fishing in the night
The rest of us remained behind and wished him well on his try
He was after fish for his morning meal
He came back shortly and reported only one good bite
It is hard to explain how you feel
Telling stories and drinking whisky by the fire light
The Salmon scramble in the morning was just fine
The Clifden House was a superb place to dine
