|We all face that moment when we realize that the only people who know us will also be gone. Few live on in the memories of mankind. Of course there is long list of famous people who will be studied for as long as the Western World maintains its current education system and values. Who knows but that could always fade into obscurity.
One of my few abstracts which seem to fit the subject of the poem.
Forget me not - at least not soon
I doubt if I will be forgotten right away
But who for sure, can actually say
So many brilliant people are not here today
We are only briefly here, forbidden to stay
I truly followed my own quest
Soon I will welcome eternal rest
My humor lost, will be but forgotten jest
And my heart will quit in my breast
