The Princess Attended Bampa’s PartyThe Princess left behind Something for us to find To prove she had been there A sweet barrette from her golden brown hair She was a totally delighted lass As she rolled in the new-mown grass When Bampa’s presents were unwrapped, the princess took center stage Her abilities at unwrapping, were extraordinary at her tender age Bampa’s fruit salad is mostly what she ate After a few more blue berries she left, not to stay too late We missed her presence right away But she will be with us again on Tuesday When the princess left the party, she seemed very happy As she said good-bye, good-bye, good-bye and Good-bye, good-bye, good-bye!
