art The Silver Sea was just one of the colors presented by the Atlantic Ocean from our rented house near Ardara, Donegal. Each hour produced another color as the sun and clouds exchanged their influence on landscape. I do believe I could have sat there all day except that it almost begged to be explored.

Music: The Donegal Jig

The Silver Sea

Looking out on the silver sea
Today, it seems calm to me
But beneath the surface life rages on
A new storm is due, just before the dawn
Bits and pieces will liter the beach
Bringing treasures from the deep to within easy reach
Invigorated by the fresh salt air that cools the face
The water’s edge will allow a steady pace
I’ll investigate the secrets revealed to me
As I walk along the silver sea
