The Silver SeaLooking out on the silver seaToday, it seems calm to me But beneath the surface life rages on A new storm is due, just before the dawn Bits and pieces will liter the beach Bringing treasures from the deep to within easy reach Invigorated by the fresh salt air that cools the face The water’s edge will allow a steady pace I’ll investigate the secrets revealed to me As I walk along the silver sea |
