Those Many Roads are reminiscent of the small little roads that crisscross through the Irish countryside. Although many are well marked, it is the unmarked roads that cause me to wonder and often to wander. You can’t take them all but we wanted to. Most of the roads well maintained and are of narrow black asphalt. Now and then you will come across a stretch of road under repair with “chips”. Only a few roads would look as unimproved as the one in the painting.

Those Many RoadsThis world is crisscrossed by many roadsAnd many people, are always on the go Alone or in groups, burdened by many loads Where they are going - I do not know Some say - it is the journey But is that true - really You choose your roads, my friend And are accountable in the end |
