Wild Wood Walk - the painting, was inspired by a trip through the Trinity Alps in
November 1994. The poem was inspired and reflects the peace and spirit found only in
the wilderness which is abundant in and around a friend's beautiful home in the
Sierra Madre Mountains.

Wild Wood WalkA walk in the wild wood Provides peace for the soul It makes you feel so good You wonder: What is nature's role? When Autumn colors are reflected in the sky The blues, reds and gold You can feel time passing by But you don't feel old As you walk and look around At that moment all is still Try not to make a sound Nature's silence can be quite a thrill |
