McClures Beach is along
Marin's Coast in Northern California. I've never been there when it was crowded. I probably go at the wrong time of the year. For some reason I tend to avoid the beaches in the summer when most people go to the beach. Music: Dreams of Alwyn (Isle of Innisfree) |
Quiet BeachWhile walking on a wild beach alone I was delighted to see a small and shinning stone Thus into my pocket went a piece of the universe A small fragment of something so grand and so diverse Its colors didn’t match the cliffs nearby I wondered if it could have fallen from the sky Wandering along and among the debris of the night’s high tide The ingredients of the ocean soup can hardly be denied I smell the ocean’s stew with its heartily salted air And the pounding surf has captured me in mesmerizing stare! |
