art Cow Eyes and Dew was inspired by the cows observed in Ireland in October 1993. Gentle creatures, they seem to watch with some enjoyment as you struggle through the deep green grass, heavy with the morning dew. The rust and white cow fit perfectly in the Irish landscape, as I remember them.

Music: The Foggy Dew

Cow Eyes and Dew

Whenever a cow is near
It will be watching you
You need not fear
There is nothing you need to do
They stare with soft gentle eyes
Standing under sweet-milky skies
Knee-deep in grass so green
They are easily seen
You can hear the sighs
Of the drops of morning dew
