| Sailing away.
Music: The Old Rambler |
Man TideIn the moment between afternoon and evening when the sun changes the sky's normal shade of blue, to any other hue, The mind turns to thoughts of one's home and perhaps cozy fires Not long thereafter the mind shifts again to thoughts of one's desires These are too numerous to list but among them are those of improving one's lot Although this subject alone takes many forms it usually includes improving what one's got A further reduction brings us to removing ourselves from sight and fleeing into the night The ocean seems a place to float away on a casual day To those that do not know, this seems a peaceful way to go To many the ocean seems to effect a boring state To those I say they deserve their fate To those that know there is respectful fear from danger far and near and they keep a watchful eye on land sea and sky To those that sail it is with quickened pace to discover that most desirable place and put down anchor in a sacred place |
