art A Ship off San Torini. The painting uses an old technique of "capturing the eye" first discovered in a miniature art gallery on a trip to Ireland in 1989. Notice how your eye flows to the little boat and ultimately to the little island across the open stretch of water giving meaning to the phrase "there's more fun to be had on the next island".

This Little Place in Greece

There is this little place in Greece
Where I'd like to take a long-term lease
I'd like to spend some time there
And smell the sea-sweet air
And, Oh the magical nights
Sampling Greek wines and other delights
It is a place that appeals to me
As I swim and bath in the azure sea
